Primal Core in the Year of the Fire Monkey!
Chinese New Year on the second new moon of 2016 is when February’s Primal Core Intensive begins. Another new year portal to choose goals and envision ourselves anew. Here’s a little snippet from author, Narrye Caldwell’s blog about this Monkey year:
Keywords are erratic, irrepressible, ingenious, clever, unpredictable, resourceful, adventurous, selfish, magical, quixotic, amoral. In other words, keep your wits about you because anything, absolutely anything, can happen.
The Primal Core practice is the perfect way to celebrate and prepare for this year of mischief and mayhem.
Our primal energies are the energies of creation and manifestation, and the practices offered in this intensive activate and channel these primal energies through kriya, core drills, mantra and pranayama. Building a strong core is one of the best ways to cultivate physical and emotional stability. These practices will build physical strength and energy to fuel your creations. The physical transformation is one aspect of the benefit available here. Find also tools to clear and focus the mind, open the heart and connect to spirit.
Light the fire of transformation and burn up previously held limits to your capacity!
Primal Core Yoga Intensive will:
Wake up your core
Activate your energy
Boost your immune system
Lift your spirits
The full Intensive offers 3 x 90 minute classes/week combining heating core drills, rigorous asana, calming japa (chanting), and powerful breathwork.
This combination of practices is intended to rapidly foster changes in state and condition of the body. These are ancient, time tested practices that work from the physical to the subtle levels of the body with the intention awakening the Shakti Kundalini primal life force.
